What is this medication?Actifed Cold and Allergy Tablets contain an antihistamine and nasal decongestant. This medication is intended to provide temporary relief from runny nose, sneezing, itchy or watery eyes, nasal congestion, and nasal or throat itching due to hay fever or other upper respiratory allergies.
It can also temporarily relieve runny nose, sneezing, and nasal congestion due to the common cold.
Are there any warnings associated with Actifed Cold and Allergy Tablets?Do not use Actifed Cold and Allergy Tablets if you are taking a prescription monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) or for 2 weeks after stopping a MAOI drug. MAOIs are sometimes used for treating Parkinson's disease, depression, and other emotional or psychiatric conditions.
Do not exceed the recommended dose of this medication.
Stop using this product and ask a doctor if nervousness, sleepiness, or dizziness occur, or if symptoms do not improve within 7 days or occur with a fever.
Be careful when driving a motor vehicle or operating machinery when using this medication.
Store this product out of the reach of children. In the event of an overdose, obtain medical help or contact a poison control center immediately.

What is the usual dosage of Actifed Cold and Allergy Tablets?Adults and children ≥12 years: Take 1 tablet every 4 hours. Do not take more than 6 tablets in 24 hours.
Children <12 years: Do not use this product in children under 12.
