Astramorph PF can cause serious breathing problems that can become life-threatening, especially when it is used in the wrong way for long periods of time. Tell your doctor if you have any lung or breathing problems (such as asthma); your doctor will monitor you.
Astramorph PF can cause seizures. Tell your doctor if you have any seizure disorders. Also, Astramorph PF can reduce your blood pressure. This is more likely to happen if you have certain heart problems, or are taking other medications that can reduce your blood pressure or cause sedation.
Call your doctor or get emergency medical help immediately if you have breathing problems, drowsiness, dizziness, confusion, or any other unusual symptoms. These can be symptoms of an overdose. Your dose of Astramorph PF may be too high for you. These symptoms may lead to serious problems or death if not treated right away.
Who should not take Astramorph PF?Your doctor will not administer Astramorph PF if you are allergic to it, any of its ingredients, or if you are having an asthma attack, have severe asthma, trouble breathing, or lung problems.
Your doctor will not administer Astramorph PF if you have certain conditions with low blood pressure or are taking other medications that can cause sedation.
