What is the usual dosage?The information below is based on the dosage guidelines your doctor uses. Depending on your condition and medical history, your doctor may prescribe a different regimen. Do not change the dosage or stop taking your medication without your doctor's approval.
Adults and children ≥12 years: Apply Benzamycin Pak twice a day, once in the morning and once in the evening, or as directed by your doctor.
How should I take Benzamycin Pak?Before applying Benzamycin Pak, thoroughly wash the affected skin with soap and warm water, rinse well, and pat dry.
Benzamycin Pak is dispensed in one foil pouch containing medication in 2 separate compartments. The contents of each pouch must be mixed thoroughly in the palm of your hand prior to application. Apply the product immediately after mixing and wash your hands.

It is not known whether the ingredients of Benzamycin Pak appear in breast milk after topical use. However, erythromycin is excreted in human milk if it is taken orally or by injection. Caution must be taken during nursing, so talk with your doctor before taking this drug if you are pregnant, plan to become pregnant, or are breastfeeding.
What should I do if I miss a dose of Benzamycin Pak?If you miss a dose of Benzamycin Pak, apply the missed dose as soon as you remember it. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the dose you missed and return to your regular dosing schedule. Do not use two doses at once.
