    Cold-Eeze Cold Remedy is intended to reduce the duration of the common cold and reduce the severity of coughing, stuffy nose, sore throat, sneezing, postnasal drip, and/or hoarseness due to the cold.
  • Are there any warnings associated with Cold-Eeze Cold Remedy?

    Stop using this product and ask a healthcare provider if symptoms last longer than 7 days. Do not take Cold-Eeze Cold Remedy on an empty stomach, but drink plenty of fluids while using the product.

    This product is formulated to reduce the duration of common cold symptoms and may be insufficient treatment for influenza or allergies.

    Do not dissolve this product on an empty stomach to avoid minor stomach upset.

    Avoid citrus fruits or juices and products containing citric acid ½ hour before or after taking this product as they may diminish product effectiveness, otherwise, drink plenty of fluids.

    Keep this product out of the reach of children.

  • Should I talk to my doctor before taking Cold-Eeze Cold Remedy?

    Ask a doctor before using this product if you are taking minocycline, doxycycline, tetracycline, or are on coumadin therapy; zinc treatment may inhibit your absorption of these medicines.

    Ask your doctor before using this product if you are pregnant or breast-feeding.

    Taking this product on an empty stomach may lead to minor stomach upset.

    Side effects cannot always be anticipated. If any develop or change in intensity, tell your doctor as soon as possible. Only your doctor can determine if it is safe for you to continue taking this drug.

  • What should I avoid while taking Cold-Eeze Cold Remedy?

    Citrus fruits and juices, and products with citric acid, may reduce the effectiveness of Cold-Eeze Cold Remedy if they are consumed shortly before or after taking it.

    If Cold-Eeze is taken with certain other drugs, the effects of either could be increased, decreased, or altered. Always check with your doctor before combining Cold-Eeze with any other medication, especially minocycline, doxycycline, tetracycline, or Coumadin.

  • What is the usual dosage of Cold-Eeze Cold Remedy?

    Adults and children 12 years: Begin taking within 24 to 48 hours of the start of symptoms. Completely dissolve a lozenge in your mouth, without chewing. Repeat every 2 to 4 hours as needed until symptoms subside. The recommended daily dosage is 6 lozenges for adults and 4 lozenges for young people ages 12 to 17.

    Children <12 years: Ask your doctor or pharmacist.
