    Imodium Multi-Symptom Relief contains an anti-diarrheal agent and an antigas agent. It is intended to control symptoms of diarrhea, plus bloating, pressure, and cramps commonly referred to as "gas."

    Do not use this product if you have ever had a rash or other type of allergic reaction to loperamide HCl.

    Do not use this product if you have bloody or black stools.

    When using this product, tiredness, drowsiness, or dizziness may occur. Be careful when driving or operating machinery.

    Stop using this product and talk to a doctor if your symptoms get worse; you have diarrhea for more than 2 days; or you get abdominal swelling or bulging. These may be signs of a serious condition.

    Drink plenty of clear fluids to help prevent dehydration caused by diarrhea.

    Keep this product out of the reach of children. In the event of an overdose, get medical help or contact a poison control center right away.

    Use this product only as directed.

    Do not use this product if the carton or blister unit is torn or open, or if the pouch is opened.

    Chewable Tablets:

    Adults and children 12 years: Chew 2 tablets and take with 4 to 8 ounces of water after the first loose stool; chew 1 tablet and take with 4 to 8 ounces of water after each subsequent loose stool, but no more than 4 tablets in 24 hours.

    Children 9-11 years (60 to 95 pounds): Chew 1 tablet and take with 4 to 8 ounces of water after the first loose stool; chew 1/2 tablet and take with 4 to 8 ounces of water after each subsequent loose stool, but no more than 3 tablets in 24 hours.

    Children 6-8 years (48 to 59 pounds): Chew 1 tablet and take with 4 to 8 ounces of water after the first loose stool; chew 1/2 tablet and take with 4 to 8 ounces of water after each subsequent loose stool, but no more than 2 tablets in 24 hours.
