  • What is this medication?

    Lotrimin Ultra contains an antifungal agent. It is intended to cure most athlete's foot between the toes. Effectiveness on the bottom or sides of the foot is unknown. It is also intended to cure most jock itch and ringworm, and to relieve itching, burning, cracking, and scaling which accompany these conditions.
  • Are there any warnings associated with Lotrimin Ultra?

    This product is for external use only.

    Do not use this product on the nails or scalp, in or near the mouth or eyes, or for vaginal yeast infections.

    When using this product do not get it into the eyes. If eye contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water.

    Stop using this product and ask a doctor if too much irritation occurs or if irritation gets worse.

    Keep this product out of the reach of children. If it is swallowed, get medical help or contact a poison control center right away.

    Do not use if seal on tube is broken or not visible.

  • What is the usual dosage of Lotrimin Ultra?

    Adults and Children 12 years: Use the tip of the cap to break the seal and open the tube. Wash the affected skin with soap and water and dry completely before applying.

    For athlete's foot between the toes: Apply to the affected skin between and around the toes twice a day for 1 week (morning and night), or once a day for 4 weeks, or as directed by a doctor. Wash your hands after each use. Wear well-fitting, ventilated shoes. Change shoes and socks at least once daily.

    For jock itch and ringworm: Apply once a day to the affected skin for 2 weeks or as directed by a doctor. Wash your hands after each use.

    Store between 5°and 30°C (41° to 86°F).
