    Naphcon A Eye Drops are intended to temporarily relieve minor eye itching and redness caused by ragweed, pollen, grass, and animal dander and hair.
  • Are there any warnings associated with Naphcon A Eye Drops?

    To avoid contamination, do not touch the tip of the container to any surface. Replace the cap after each use.

    Do not use the product if the solution has changed color or become cloudy.

    Remove contact lenses before using.

    When using this product, pupils may become enlarged temporarily. Overuse may cause more redness of the eye(s).

    Stop using the product and ask a doctor if you have eye pain or changes in vision, or if eye irritation or redness gets worse or lasts more than 72 hours.

    Do not use the product if you are allergic to any ingredient in the product. Do not use if you are sensitive to any ingredient in this product. Ask a doctor before use if you have heart disease, high blood pressure, difficulty urinating, or narrow angle glaucoma unless directed by a physician.

    Keep this medication out of the reach of children. If it is swallowed, obtain medical help or contact a poison control center immediately. If infants or children swallow this medication, a coma and marked reduction in body temperature may result.

    Do not use this product while wearing contact lenses. Do not allow the tip of the container to touch any surface. Do not swallow this product.

    If Naphcon A Eye Drops are taken with certain other drugs, the effects of either could be increased, decreased, or altered. Always check with your doctor before combining Naphcon A Eye Drops with any other medication.
  • What is the usual dosage of Naphcon A Eye Drops?

    Adults and children > 6 years:

    Put 1 or 2 drops in the affected eye(s) up to 4 times daily.

    Children <6 years: Ask a doctor.

  • How should I store Naphcon A Eye Drops?

    Store the product at room temperature, and protect from light.
