Return to topAlamast is used to prevent itching of the eye caused by allergies. Alamast should not be used to treat contact lens-related problems. You may notice decreased itching within a few days, but frequently longer treatment (up to four weeks) is necessary.

What is the usual dosage?

Adults: The recommended dosage is 1 or 2 drops in each affected eye 4 times a day. Alamast has not been evaluated in children under the age of 3.
How should I take Alamast?
Return to topUse Alamast solution only in the eyes; never swallow it. If you wear soft contact lenses, remove them before administering the eye drops and wait 10 minutes before re-inserting them.
What should I avoid while taking Alamast?

What are the possible side effects of Alamast?
