Once in the system, it can cause severe colitis (inflammation of the colon), which may result in death. Contact your doctor immediately if you experience colitis symptoms, including severe or bloody diarrhea and abdominal cramps.

Evenly spread a small amount of BenzaClin with your fingertips over the affected areas. Do not use BenzaClin more often than recommended by your doctor. Excessive use can make your skin dry or irritated.
What should I avoid while taking BenzaClin?
Return to topBenzaClin is for external use only. Avoid contact with eyes and all mucous membranes. Avoid or minimize exposure to natural or artificial sunlight (tanning beds or UVA/UVB treatment). To avoid sunburns, apply a sunscreen with SPF 15 or higher. BenzaClin may bleach hair or colored fabric; avoid getting it on your clothes.
