This product is intended to provide heat therapy to temporarily relieve minor muscle and joint aches and pains associated with overexertion, strains, sprains, and arthritis.

    This product can cause burns. People age 55 or older: Your risk of burning increases as you get older.

    Do not wear this product while sleeping.

    Check your skin frequently during use of this product. If you find irritation, blisters, or burns, remove the product immediately and stop using it.

    Do not use this product for more than 12 hours in a 24-hour period.

    Do not use this product with pain rubs, medicated lotions, creams, or ointments.

    Do not use this product on skin that is unhealthy, damaged, or broken.

    Do not use this product on areas of bruising or swelling that have occurred within 48 hours; or places on your body where you cannot feel heat; or with other forms of heat.

    Do not use this product on people who are unable to remove the product, including infants, children, and some elderly; or on people who are not able to follow all use instructions.

    If the product feels too hot, stop using it or wear it over clothing.

    Do not place extra pressure on this product.

    Remove this product before undergoing magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures to avoid an increased risk of burns.

    Stop using this product and talk to a doctor if your pain gets worse or persists for more than 7 days.

    Stop using this product and talk to a doctor if you experience any discomfort, burning, swelling, rash, or other changes in your skin that persist where the wrap is worn.

    Keep this product out of the reach of children and pets. This product can be harmful if ingested. If it is ingested, rinse the mouth with water and call a poison control center immediately.

    If the contents of the heat disc come into contact with your skin or eyes, rinse immediately with water.

    Do not microwave or attempt to reheat this product, as the wrap may catch fire.

    Tear open the pouch when you are ready to use. Peel away the paper to reveal adhesive tabs. Using adhesive is optional. Do not place the heat cells on the back of the knee or in the bend of the arm. Bend knee or elbows slightly and place over the kneecap or over the elbow. Secure tabs to skin (optional). Wrap straps around knee or elbow and fasten. Over-tightening may cause discomfort. Adjust as needed.

    It may take up to 30 minutes for ThermaCare to reach its therapeutic temperature. For maximum effectiveness, it is recommended that you wear ThermaCare Joint and Arthritis for 12 hours. Do not use for more than 12 hours in any 24-hour period.
