    Tucks Hemorrhoidal Ointment contains protectants and a pain reliever. It is intended to temporarily relieve pain, soreness, burning, and itching related to hemorrhoids or other anorectal disorders, and to temporarily form a protective coating over inflamed tissues to help prevent drying.

    This product is for external use only.

    Do not use more of this product than directed unless told by a doctor to do so.

    Do not put this product into the rectum using fingers or any mechanical device or applicator.

    Stop using this product and talk to a doctor if an allergic reaction or rectal bleeding occurs.

    Stop using this product and talk to a doctor if redness, irritation, swelling, pain, or other symptoms begin or increase; or if your condition worsens or does not improve within 7 days.

    Keep this product out of reach of children. If it is swallowed, get medical help or contact a poison control center immediately.

  • What is the usual dosage of Tucks Hemorrhoidal Ointment?

    Adults: Apply the product externally to the affected area up to 5 times daily. When practical, clean the affected area first with mild soap and warm water and rinse thoroughly. Dry gently by patting or blotting with toilet tissue or a soft cloth before applying the product.

    To use the dispensing cap, attach it to the tube, lubricate it well, then gently insert it part way into the anus. Squeeze the tube to deliver the medication. Thoroughly cleanse the dispensing cap well after use.
