What is the most important information I should know about Ulesfia Lotion?Ulesfia Lotion is for external use on scalp hair and scalp only. Do not use it in your eyes, mouth, or vagina. Tell your doctor immediately if you accidentally swallow the lotion by mouth.
Ulesfia Lotion can cause skin irritation or eye irritation when it is applied. Rinse your skin or eyes with water right away and tell your doctor immediately if this occurs.
Ulesfia Lotion can also cause inflammation of your skin or allergic skin reactions when it is applied. Tell your doctor immediately if this occurs.
Ulesfia Lotion contains benzyl alcohol. Benzyl alcohol can cause toxicity in your newborn baby, especially in premature babies.
Who should not take Ulesfia Lotion?Do not use Ulesfia Lotion if you are allergic to it or any of its ingredients.
What should I tell my doctor before I take the first dose of Ulesfia Lotion?Tell your doctor about all prescription, over-the-counter, and herbal medications you are taking before beginning treatment with Ulesfia Lotion. Also, talk to your doctor about your complete medical history, especially if you have allergies or other skin conditions; are pregnant, plan to become pregnant, are breastfeeding; or if your baby was born early.
What is the usual dosage?The information below is based on the dosage guidelines your doctor uses. Depending on your condition and medical history, your doctor may prescribe a different regimen. Do not change the dosage or stop taking your medication without your doctor's approval.
Adults: Apply on dry hair of your scalp in 2 applications that are 7 days apart.
Children ≥6 months: Apply on dry hair of your child's scalp in 2 applications that are 7 days apart.
How should I take Ulesfia Lotion?Apply Ulesfia Lotion exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Completely cover all of the lice with Ulesfia Lotion on your scalp and scalp hair. Wash your hands immediately after applying Ulesfia Lotion. Leave it on for 10 minutes and thoroughly rinse it off with water. Use a comb to remove treated lice or nits (lice eggs) from your hair and scalp. All personal items, including clothing, bedding, or pillowcases, exposed to your hair or lice should be washed in hot water or dry cleaned.

What should I do if I miss a dose of Ulesfia Lotion?If you miss your scheduled dose, contact your doctor or pharmacist for advice.
